Design and Mechanical Engineering

Engineer it for the factory floor, not just the studio

A concept only becomes a product when someone engineers it properly. We take the committed concept into detailed CAD, functional prototypes and rigorous testing, until the design is proven and production intent, ready to hand to manufacture.

“Working with Enki Product on the development of the Airbotx system has been an outstanding experience from start to finish. Their team demonstrated a rare combination of technical competence, design discipline, and professional integrity throughout the entire process.”

Mechanical Design & CAD

We develop detailed 3D models optimised for manufacturing: every tolerance, every wall thickness, every draft angle considered. Our engineers have led product categories at Dyson, and they hold that standard here.

What we do

Design for Manufacture (DFM)

We engineer for the factory from the start. Material selection, tooling strategy, component count, assembly sequence: every decision is made with production cost and efficiency in mind.

Testing, Validation & Compliance

We build functional prototypes and put them through rigorous testing: durability, performance, safety and regulatory compliance. Problems are found and fixed before tooling, not after.

Why it matters

The gap between a concept that looks right and a product that works right is engineering.

Products reach us that were designed without a route to manufacture. Draft angles ignored. Wall thicknesses underestimated. Materials specified that do not exist at production volume. None of it shows up in a render. All of it shows up at tooling, when it is expensive to fix.

Our job is to make sure your product does not just look like it works. It works, it can be made at scale, and it meets the standards it has to meet. Almost all of our engineers came from Dyson within the last two years, and that rigour goes onto every project regardless of size.

01 Develop the design

We take the validated concept and develop it into refined 3D models, progressing through semi-integrated rigs to fully integrated prototypes. Every design decision is measured against cost, timeline, and manufacturing constraints.

How We Work

02 Engineer for production

Tolerances, materials and processes are settled deliberately, not left open. Every design decision is measured against cost, timeline and manufacturing constraint, and once it is locked the documentation follows it.

03 We prove it before you spend on tooling

Functional prototypes are built and tested for compliance, durability and real use. Everything is validated before tooling investment. This is the stage that separates products that ship confidently from products that ship with fingers crossed.
