Rorra Pitcher

The Rorra Pitcher is a countertop water filtration pitcher designed for people who want Rorra-grade water quality without plumbing in a full under-sink system. It extends the Rorra brand from installed infrastructure into an everyday object the household actually touches, the thing you reach for on waking, at dinner, and at bedtime. Rorra came to Enki to translate the engineering rigour of their install units into a pitcher that would sit comfortably on a dining table and earn its keep against a category full of commodity plastic.
The challenge
A Category Taken for Granted
Water pitchers are one of those rare product types where almost everyone owns one and almost nobody loves one. The default is a translucent plastic body, a snap-fit lid that leaks when you pour too fast, and a filter cartridge that needs replacing more often than you remember. Rorra's customers already trust the brand with the water they drink from the tap, which meant the pitcher had to clear a much higher bar than the usual supermarket shelf comparison. It had to filter to a standard that lined up with Rorra's install systems, hold enough for a household day without becoming furniture, pour cleanly on a tilt so the user never thinks about flow rate, and feel like an object worth owning the way a good carafe does. It also had to carry the Rorra brand visually, which is a quieter, more engineered language than the candy-bright competition.
The solution
Built to Be Picked Up
We built the Rorra Pitcher around a tall, slender vessel geometry with a weighted base so the pour feels stable even when the pitcher is nearly empty. The filter sits in a sealed upper chamber with a high-surface-area media path tuned to match Rorra's install-grade performance targets, and the spout is a machined profile that cuts the stream cleanly without the usual plastic dribble. The lid is a one-motion fit with a magnetic indexing point so it lands straight every time, and the fill flap pivots on a hidden axis so the top surface reads as a single clean plane when closed. A quiet capacity indicator lets the user see at a glance how much filtered water is ready without breaking the line of the body. Materials were chosen for their feel in the hand: a heavy borosilicate glass body, a stainless collar at the handle junction, and a soft-touch base that grips a wet worktop without needing a coaster. The pitcher lives on the dining table, not in the back of the fridge, and the design assumes that as a feature rather than a hope.
The outcome
Our Role
Enki led industrial design, mechanical engineering, and design for manufacture on the Rorra Pitcher, including the filter chamber architecture, the spout profile, the lid mechanism, and the glass and stainless material engineering. We worked alongside Rorra's water quality team to align the pitcher's filtration performance with their install-grade benchmarks and carried the product through supplier selection into tooled parts.
